The characters that are assigned to you are randomly picked from a deck of all the possible characters, players pick one at a time until they hold 3 characters cards, with this they will have to make the most out of the game they get. They also require one piece of paper and pencil each.
The goal of the game is to wipe out all other armies and be the last survivor in order to have the right to player’s spoils.

- Shield Bearer

Some card are also especially better against others. All players are able to openly scrutinize opponent’s character cards.
There is a second deck of cards, from this you can take a one time use random special card that can be advantageous or cause problems on your end of the game. A bad card must be used at the earliest opportunity. Good cards can be kept for later use capping at 4. In order to collect these cards players must deal an accumulative 100 HP, or receive an accumulative 250 HP loss. You are able to use more than one special card at a time, meaning you are able to chain special cards together using up all 4. You can use a character card, but are restricted to one special card in that case. If you are able you may collect another special card for one you may not want. Special cards can be kept undisclosed if a player’s strategy works in that manner.
Players take turns attacking a player of their choice. Players are penalised for the excessive use of the same character in different ways, you can find these on the cards and if possible to get what you have lost back. Varying your use of the characters you have will prevent them from becoming vulnerable until you can exploit them again. Every characters has 20 stamina and it takes different numbers to use different attacks and defence for different characters. Stamina goes up by 2 every round.
When players are hit they have the choice to use their defence which also takes stamina from the characters.
